How pricing works
How much does a digital marketing agency in Miami cost?
It's the first question every business owner asks and the last one any agency answers. Here it is with numbers — including what we don't know.
We charge $697 a month to run a local business's social presence — daily content, a story every day, the Google listing, reviews and the monthly report — and $1,497 when production video and managed ads are added. A website starts at $1,500 per project. No lock-in contract.
What we can't give you is what other Miami agencies charge: almost none of them publish it. And that, in itself, is the most useful part of the answer.
Why almost nobody publishes a price
When a price isn't published it's usually for one of three reasons, and only one of them is good: because the work genuinely gets quoted case by case, because the number changes with what the client looks like they can pay, or because it's easier to say after two meetings, when saying no is harder.
We publish it for a practical reason: if the number doesn't work for you, better we both know in the first minute than in the third meeting.
The three ways agencies charge
1 · Per post
You pay per piece. Cheapest to start and the worst performer, because nobody is thinking about your business between one piece and the next. You end up paying for content with no strategy — exactly the thing that doesn't move anything.
2 · Monthly retainer
A fixed fee for a defined scope. The most common, and what we use: a team stays on the account every day, and month three builds on what month one taught. The number isn't the important part — the important part is that the scope is written down.
3 · Per project
A website, an identity, a one-off campaign. It has a beginning and an end, and it should state in writing how many rounds of changes are included and what happens after delivery.
What moves the number
- Video. The single biggest swing in any quote: designing a graphic isn't the same as going out to shoot, editing, and shooting again when it didn't work.
- Two languages. Plenty of Miami accounts need English and Spanish, and that isn't translating — it's writing twice, because what works in one doesn't always work in the other.
- Ads. Managing campaigns is work separate from content, and the money spent on the ads themselves is not part of the fee.
- Your category and your area. Competing for a restaurant in Brickell doesn't cost the same as for a shop in an area where almost nobody does marketing.
- The starting point. An account abandoned for three years needs a month of cleanup before anything starts paying off.
What almost never gets included (and you should ask about)
- The ad budget. It's separate and it should come out of your ad account, not the agency's. If it runs through theirs, the account's learning history — the thing that makes campaigns get better — stays with them when you leave.
- On-location video production. Often charged per shoot day.
- The website. Rarely part of the monthly.
- Print. Menus, flyers, vinyl: different craft, different cost.
- Licences. Stock photos, fonts, music for reels.
Miami business websites we audited had no meta description written at all, and five were showing the bare domain as their search result title.
Our own audit of 14 live sites, July 2026. All of them were paying, or had paid, for that website. The basics get assumed and are almost never there.
The red flags
- «We guarantee you the #1 spot on Google». Nobody controls the algorithm. Anyone guaranteeing it is selling something they can't deliver.
- A twelve-month lock-in. A client who stays because they can't leave isn't a happy client, and the agency knows it.
- Accounts in the agency's name. Your Instagram, your Google listing and your ad account are yours. If they're in someone else's name, your business is a hostage.
- Reports built on hand-picked screenshots. An honest report shows platform numbers, bad months included.
- Metrics the agency produced itself. If the report celebrates likes and half of them came from the team, that isn't a result. It happened to us, which is why we always check.
Five questions before you sign
- What exactly comes every month? How many pieces, how many stories, who produces them, who answers the messages.
- Whose name are the accounts in? All of them: social, Google listing and ads.
- Is the ad budget included or separate? And which account does it come out of.
- How is it measured and how often do I see it? «When there's news» isn't an answer.
- What happens if I want out in month three? The answer to this one tells you more than the other four combined.

Frequently asked
How much does digital marketing cost for a small business in Miami?
Our entry plan is $697 a month and includes daily content, a story every day, the Google listing, reviews and the monthly report. It's the level built for a local business that needs steady presence before adding paid ads.
Is the advertising budget included in the price?
No, and be wary of anyone who says it is. The fee pays for managing the campaigns; the money spent on ads is separate and paid from your own ad account, so the history stays with you.
Is hiring a freelancer cheaper?
Almost always yes, and sometimes it's the right call. The difference isn't talent — it's continuity and coverage. One person gets sick, travels, and can't be video editor, designer and analyst at the same time.
How long before I see results?
Order and rhythm show within weeks. Reach among people who don't follow you yet moves over months and depends on format and category. Anyone giving you an exact figure for the first thirty days is selling smoke.
Do I have to sign for a year?
Not with us. It's month to month, and the accounts are in your name from day one.
Shall we look at it together?
We review your Google listing and tell you what's wrong, in order of importance. No cost, no strings.
