AI Visibility Index · Law firms
Which Miami law firms does AI recommend?
The most open of the five categories — and that's where the opportunity is. AI named 310 distinct law firms and none of them dominates. Here's the data and what it means if you run a practice in Miami.
In law firms, the 10 most-named take only 30.3% of the recommendations inside their area — the lowest concentration in the study.
And the number that explains it: 132 of the 310 firms named appeared exactly once across 120 questions. That's noise, not presence. Which also means the list is genuinely open for anyone who builds real signals.
This data comes from the AI Visibility Index of Miami: 600 questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude across five categories and five areas of Miami-Dade, with the method and the data published. This page is the law firms cut — 120 questions.
Area by area
The right way to read this is inside each area: a business in Brickell doesn't compete with one in Hialeah, so lumping them together dilutes the number and makes the door look more open than it is.
| Area | Businesses named | Top 10 takes | Most named |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brickell | 75 | 35.6% | Wolfson & Leon (9) |
| Kendall | 120 | 22.2% | Rotella & Hernandez (7) |
| Doral | 77 | 33.8% | Pozo Goldstein, LLP (8) |
| Hialeah | 82 | 30.5% | Gallardo Law Firm (7) |
| Aventura | 82 | 29.3% | Wildes & Weinberg P.C. (8) |
Open doesn't mean easy — it means unstable
A category where nobody dominates is one where nobody is safe either. Appearing once here is common and means very little; what's rare, and what's worth building, is appearing consistently.
310 names is a lot for 120 questions
The models are reaching wide instead of deep, which usually means they're not finding strong sources to lean on. That's an opening: the firm that gives them something solid to cite gets picked up faster than in a closed category.
Why it probably won't last
Closed categories got that way because somebody built the sources first. There's no reason legal stays open once firms start publishing real answers instead of service pages.

What to do with this
- One page per practice area and per area of town «Immigration lawyer in Hialeah» is not «accident lawyer in Doral». Different cases, different budgets, different urgency.
- Answer the real question How much it costs, how long it takes, what happens if I lose. That's what people ask and what a model can quote — a page of credentials isn't.
- Demonstrable authority Attorney profile, bar admission, years, cases by area. In legal this isn't theory: it's what decides whether you get cited.
- Never guarantee outcomes Not on the site, not in ads. It's the rule of the category and it's ours too.
And the usual reminder, worth repeating: nobody can guarantee you a position in ChatGPT. It doesn't exist as a product and it can't be bought. What can be done is measure where you start, move the signals a model reads, and measure again.
Frequently asked
Which law firms does AI recommend in Miami?
No firm dominates. In our July 2026 measurement, AI named 310 distinct firms across 120 questions and the top 10 took only 30.3% of the mentions inside their area.
Is it easier to appear as a law firm?
Easier to appear once, harder to stay. 132 of the 310 firms named showed up a single time — that's noise. Appearing consistently is what counts and what almost nobody has built yet.
Why is legal less concentrated than med spas?
Because the models aren't finding strong sources to lean on, so they reach wide instead of deep. It's an opening, and it's unlikely to stay open once firms start publishing real answers.
What should a firm do first?
Publish one page per practice area and per area of town, answer the questions clients actually ask — cost, timeline, risk — and build demonstrable authority. And never guarantee an outcome.
